Dr Diether Burkhardt
1942 – 2023

KONSENS PR mourns the death of its co-founder Dr Diether Burkhardt, who passed away on 23 May 2023 after a short illness.

After his time as editor of the magazine Kunststoffe, Dr Burkhardt had founded the agency in 1994 together with Dr Georg Krassowski (deceased in 2017) and Dr.-Ing. Jörg Wolters in Groß-Umstadt.

With his obliging, friendly manner and his extensive expertise, he quickly succeeded in acquiring a large number of industrial customers from the plastics machinery and toolmaking sector and was in charge of most of them continuously until his retirement in 2013. The trade press at home and abroad appreciated him as a reliable partner who knew how to convey even complicated contexts in clear, easily understandable language.

His unexpected death leaves a deep gap in the agency, to which he had remained on friendly terms. We will greatly miss his visits and his participation in our small celebrations. We mourn with his relatives and cherish his memory.
